Cool Runnings is inspired by the Jamaican national bobsleigh team. They performed brilliantly at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary (Alberta, Canada). Malik Yoba had never been in a major movie or television show. Yui Brenner, a sternal notch Jamaican-born athlete, was his role.
It was a great financial success with worldwide grossings of $154,856,263 and $154,856,263 respectively. Although the characters were fictionalized, most of gold balloons the events were true. The film’s performances, and the story itself, were also highly praised by critics. It has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 76%.
2.TV Show: The Good Wife (8.3)
Malik was Eddie Forum in The Good Wife. He was convicted of the 1999 murders of two young girls. Malik was sentenced by lethal injection to death, but things didn’t go according plan.
His medical team was having trouble finding a vein so his legal team stopped the execution. They claimed that he was violating the Eighth Amendment. They were able stop the execution, and as he waited for his next date they attempted to clear his name.

They’re Just My Friends is the story of Pat, a champion cruiserweight boxer who falls for a group Italian-American gangsters (Malik Yoba). When he starts dating Gina, a white girl from his neighborhood, he soon finds himself in serious trouble.
Pat is sent to jail after a fight with a racist gang who opposes his relationship. Pat vows to be better disciplined when he is released. Although he devotes more time to his work and watches the people he’s friends with, he finds that things aren’t always as simple as he had hoped.
4.TV Show Person of Interest (8.4)
Malik portrayed Andre Wilcox in Person Of Interest. Andre was the owner and operator of Noble Comics, a comic book shop. He was also a gang leader and responsible for many killings.
Andre and his gang were known for forcing local shops to pay them protection money. Andre was bloodthirsty, and would kill his subordinates for making a small error. Andre was eventually arrested after committing hundreds of crimes and not being punished.
5.Movie: New malik yoba York Undercover (7.8)
This is undoubtedly one the most beloved roles of the actor. Malik Yoba played the role of the tough-talking, ruthless Det. Julius Clarence Williams, J.C. (TV movie based on FOX’s television series of the name).
J.C. was a Fourth Precinct detective who was later transferred to Special Investigations Division at the checks shirt New York Police Department (NYPD). In 2018, the legendary showrunner announced his plans to revive the series and the movie. ABC decided not to pick up the series.
